Winning Wisdom: Don’t Be a Fool
July 7, 2026Faith that works: Increasing my Faith
August 4, 2026Welcome to a new week, a new month, a new prophetic message: Faith that works. There are six Biblical conditions that are required for faith to move mountains, these are: Faith must be found in the Word of God (Romans 10:17), Faith must be mixed with obedience (1 samuel 15:22), Faith must be free of doubt (James 1:6-8), Faith must operate through love (Galatians 5:6), Faith must be persistent (Luke 18:1-8), lastly, Faith must be centered around Christ (Hebrews 12:2).
Key takeaways:
- Faith must be found in the Word of God
- It is in the Word of God, you must hear the Word (Romans 10:17)
- Everyone that is acting in faith is hearing a Word. If there is no Word for you, then there is no faith since there is nothing to work with (James 2:14-26), (Genesis 12:1-4), (Luke 5:5)
- It is in the Word of God, you must hear the Word (Romans 10:17)
- Faith must be mixed with Obedience (James 2:17)
- Sacrifice is not easy. Obedience is better than sacrifice. This is an easier way to go than sacrifice (1 samuel 15:22).
- Faith must be free of doubt: (James 1:6-8)
- You cannot exercise faith with a double mind (James 1:6-8),
- You cannot manifest the power of faith with a double mind
- You cannot move that mountain with a double mind
- Fear is one of the main causes of a double mind
- Faith must operate through love (Galatians 5:6)
- You cannot have unforgiveness, bitterness, and hatred in your heart and still operate in faith (Galatians 5:6). All these negative things hinder faith
- Faith flows best from a heart that reflects God’s Character
- Faith does not flow from a heart that is not at peace, nor a heart that is in wickedness. It does not flow from a heart that does not reflect the nature of God
- Faith must be persistent
- Many miracles occur because many refuse to quit and many also do not occur because people quit before the time
- The issue of Faith is it happens on God’s time not yours. It is God’s timing
- In the story of Abraham it was God who moved Abraham and told him to leave his father’s house
- Faith requires persistence.
- Widow of zerapath (Luke 18:1-8)
- Elijah prayed repeatedly for the rain
- Faith does not give up because the answer is delayed. Delay is not denial
- You must not waver (James1:6-8)
- Faith must be centered on Christ (Hebrews 12:2)
- Your faith must be centered on Christ
- Strong faith begins with a strong relationship with Christ
- Faith is confidence in His character, not mere confidence in desired outcomes
- Faith magnifies God. Fear magnifies the problem
