There is wisdom that makes a man or woman lose, and there is also wisdom that makes a person win. Wisdom is the ability to use knowledge, experience and insight to make sound, sensible decisions and judgment. It goes beyond simply having information, it is the capacity to apply knowledge effectively to maneuver around the complexities and challenges of life.

Psalm 92: 1-2 emphasizes the importance and joy of thanking God for His goodness, steadfast love and faithfulness. Most people praise God when the victory is seen, however, experienced believers understand the wisdom of thanking God before they see the victory. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 also highlights the importance of thanksgiving, but not just from a winning perspective, stating that we should give thanks in everything.

What you do with knowledge and your application of it is where wisdom starts to show. Thanksgiving is not a feeling, it is a Kingdom strategy. It is a strategy that distinguishes between those who will go far with God and those who will simply go far. Many have tried different strategies to no avail, however, thanksgiving is a sure strategy for winning.

Key takeaways:
