As Christians we have been separated unto God and are called to fulfill His glorious purpose. In order for us to do that effectively we must first live the life, using references from the Bible, such as 2 Corinthians 13:5 and 1 Corinthians 11:31, we see the urgent need to live the life that God wants us to live. Again looking at 2 Corinthians 13:5 and 1 Corinthians 11:31, we ought to examine ourselves so that we may change our ways, making sure we align with God and His word.
There are seven questions about living the life and being mindful of our conduct which helps us in examining ourselves earnestly. Three of them are:
- Am I living as I ought to live with the things that God has giving me?
- Am I living in a way that justifies the price paid for me by the Lord?
- Lastly and crucially, am I living for myself or for the lord; am I worth saving?
Referencing Bible verses such as Psalm 119:5, 1 Thessalonians 4:1, 1 Corinthians 6:20, Romans 8:32 and John 15:14, Christians should answer these questions and always keep them in mind in everything we do.
